Claire Johnson (b.1986, South Africa) lives and works in Cape Town, where she graduated from Michealis School of Fine Art (PG Dip).


She maintains a solo art practice and is co-founder of the creative design studio Hoick, established in 2015 with Dale Lawrence. Johnson has presented two solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions and art fairs, notably Investec Cape Town Art Fair in 2026, Zsonamaco, Mexico City in 2023, and  AKAA Paris in 2021.
